Garden Work Day (October 10 @ 9am - 12pm)

The Bailey Middle School Native Plants & Animals Booster Club is organizing a clean-up day for our nursery and chicken coop areas on Saturday, October 10th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. We're asking for help from our Bailey families and community members to tackle the following tasks:

1. Clean up nursery area (pick up trash, organize equipment)

2. Mow and weedwack around nursery and chicken coop

3. Build picnic tables for new outdoor learning area

4. Fix broken equipment (hoses, wheelbarrows)

5. Mulch and pull weeds around garden beds

Adults and children are all welcome to come help -- we have tasks for everyone! We will have shovels / wheelbarrows / buckets on-site, as well as a water cooler to refill bottles. Please bring sunscreen, power tools, and anything else that might be helpful. For questions, email baileymsnpa@gmail.com. We appreciate our community!
